Special notes regarding this coach/motorhome
In 09, there were fewer standard items and more options. We added a total of $23,884 in options in order to make the coach what we wanted and to reduce the necessity of time and money for later upgrades. Since the coach was our winter home, we wanted to travel and live in it rather than spend time in RV shops.
The ’09 coaches had some factory defects such as a rotting wet bay floor, cracked roof rails and a rotted floor on the driver’s side slide. The wet bay floor was replaced at the factory; the roof rails replaced at Connecticut Motorcar and Coach Co. in Plainville CT; the floor of the slide did not need replacement. Warranty items were mostly addressed at Red Bay at the factory or at Sherman. Overall maintenance has been periodic according to schedule; those records are available at the appropriate time.
Our use of the coach has been light and thoroughly enjoyable. The 41000+ miles have been relatively trouble free and we would continue our travels if it were not for the current medical condition of Carrol which makes it impossible for the foreseeable future. If we were to purchase another coach, it would be a Tiffin.
