Journey Express 34Y Freightliner Custom Chassis Cummins Diesel Engine 340HP 51,000 Miles * Triple-Slide * Sleeps 4 |
. |
Update: Added as of 1/14/19, new shocks all the
way around, with that, a new, lower price to
make the deal even better. It's time to get your
Journey going, so, come on! Selling our awesome Journey Express. This is a diesel pusher, with a 340 hp Cummins engine. It does NOT require DEF! So, you got that going for you. It runs great and is up to date on service. (Major 45K chassis service a few months ago, performed by Freightliner, and a major generator service done soon after that.) We got between 9 and 10 mpg, with a tow vehicle depending on where we were driving, and according to a Freightliner tech, the engine is just now broken in. The coach is 34' 11" long, so it fits in smaller campsites. The 55 degree front wheel cut makes it very maneuverable. Full air suspension and air brakes, along with an engine brake make this RV very driver-friendly. It comes with everything you need to get out on the road: A Roadmaster Sterling All-terrain tow bar that is rated for 8000 pounds. A new Splendide washer/dryer combo. Sewer hose and connections. Fresh water line. New King "Jack" TV antenna - so no raising and lowering needed. WiFiRanger system consisting of both the interior router and the antenna/booster. Comes with a Garmin RV GPS system, which really helps keep you out of trouble - and works better than the GPS in my Jeep! The engine batteries are new, and the chassis batteries are only a few months old. So you are in great shape there. The tires are in great shape and have always been covered when we're parked. The front steer tires are about a year old and in perfect shape and the rears are about 3 years old and also in great shape. They were all recently rotated as well. There is tons of storage space inside and out. We lived aboard for the last two years and had more space than we needed. We were very comfortable. The bed is a KING, sleep number style mattress and very comfy. We upgraded the bathroom fixtures too, which is nice. All the interior and exterior area lights have been upgraded to LEDs, which really keeps the heat down and reduces the draw on your batteries. Four TVs, three inside and one outside under the awning. It has a satellite dome on the roof, which is ready to go. We never used it, so all you need is a new box and account and you will be good to go. Another added feature: we are selling it with both and EZip solar shade and a Sideblocker shade. What's great about the EZip is that its really simple to get off and on. The top stays with the awning and the bottom just zips onto and off of that. You can see the upper section in the pics. The Sideblocker sun shade can be moved to either end of the awning, depending on the direction of the sun. They add a lot of privacy to your awning and turn it into a nice sunroom. We installed a new Nature's Head toilet, which can be easily swapped out for a traditional unit. All the water and plumbing connections are still in place. Using the Natures Head, we never had to store black water and doubling our grey water storage, which makes things a lot easier. No flushing also really extends your fresh water supply. If you want to get "off the grid" thats a big deal. Plenty of AC and heat; the two AC/heat pumps and the propane furnace keep the inside warm or cool, no matter where you go. (One note, the ceiling has 6+ inches of rigid foam insulation in it, which really keeps the sun and cold at bay. I could go on, but I'll sum it up this way: We were very happy in the Journey. It was a perfect size for two people and a dog. (If you want to sleep more - the power, fold-out Queen bed is really comfortable.) Now, it is just time to move on to other things. There's a lot more to say, so I'm happy to answer any questions you have. Open to reasonable offers. Financing available! |
